The last boss is tough and absurdly imbalanced. To beat her on Normal difficulty will probably take training. I wailed on her the other day with multiple characters for upwards to an hour before I gave up. Story mode is not necessarily setup for casual players like it is in most fighting games. I gotta “get gud”

When I went, there were 5 of us in the theater- my wife and I, one younger guy alone, and an older couple. The older couple left about 10 minutes before the end, shortly after the orgy scene. I really wonder what the hell they thought they were going to see when they bought their tickets.

...except The Witch is on the left, Hereditary is on the right?

Anyway, I watched both of these films within a few weeks of each other. While I found Hereditary to be absolute genius, The Witch was incredibly disappointing. The pace was sooooo sloooooow and the dialogue was almost impossible to understand. Nothing

Whoever took that picture needs a wall-mount a helluva lot more than a cord-kit. What the fuck is going on there??

I just bought the 65" TCL for $480 at Walmart, which is also a great deal. Less than I paid for the 55" last year! It’s a great TV, but I can’t get it to work with the Harmony Hub, even though the 2018 55" model worked flawlessly. It’s kind of pissing me off.

THANK YOU, this is the review we truly needed.

I play almost exclusively handheld, so I am also intrigued... However, the analog sticks on my first set of Joycons are basically fucked, so I am worried about the durability of the controls. I don’t want to end up with a handheld- without a kickstand- that I have to use externals controllers to play.

Winnar.

Tr-trash...?

Devil May Cry doesn’t hold a candle to my boyhood game of ‘attempting to make a devil cry.’

Minecraft was the gaming gateway for my oldest kids, but they’ve mostly abandoned it. They are both Splatoon players, though my 15 year old more-so. They both also play a little Smash Bros. now and then. My 13 yo is a huge Okami fan (she’s on her 3rd playthrough, dad’s so proud) and after whining at me about what to

The hands coming through the doorway icon is from Resident Evil Outbreak, I believe. The lady sitting on the gun is... Lady from DMC3, and the dancing lady is Trish (DMC2or DMC1).

I felt the same, and was pretty surprised by the excitement over the thing. No backlight, a hand-crank, and that price tag made it an absolute no from me, not to mention the fact that the games seem to fall somewhere between the Atari and Game-Boy in terms of graphics. I might pay $20 for it and would probably still

Finished Katana Zero last weekend and it was amazing. Gets pretty challenging near the end, but I feel like I’d really mastered the combat by the time the credits rolled. I’ve gone back and earned all but one of the special blades, might finish getting the last one this weekend, if I find time.

I got Soul Calibur VI

Definitely Contra on the NES, but only with the Konami Kode. The first game I beat legitimately was probably Super Mario World since it was one of the first games I played that actually saved your progress. Kind of surprised I didn’t see this one more here in the comments!

It feels really bloated at times, like they just added a scene to draw out the time it takes to finish the game. At least half of the dialogue doesn’t even make sense. I was just done with it by the end. KH really needs a reboot. Start it over and keep things... simple & clean!

I honestly love Kingdom Hearts, but I started skipping scenes left and right near the end of III. I was just fucking done listening to the bullshit. It makes no sense anyway, no matter how many of the games you’ve played or explainer videos you’ve watched, so what’s the point in wasting all that time? Started skipping

Playing Cuphead on Switch, so I’ll be screaming “Bullshit!” a lot this weekend. I like the game a lot, but glad I didn’t buy an XBox just to play it since it is hard as fuck and pretty great, but definitely not “buy an entire console just to play it” great. Also playing some Resident Evil 2, if I can find the time

Not a remake, definitely more of a “reimagining.” Silent Hill is a classic, Shattered Memories was hide-and-seek bullshit.

Maybe it was retailer exclusive? I got a cheap-ass 2" Leon toy from Gamestop.
