@subnet6: It's just not polygonal - it's everything. CRT's don't suffer from "native resolution" like flat panels do. They can scale to any resolution and look great doing it. That's one of the big advantages to CRT's - it's just not significant enough for me to still own one though :P

@Mike Newlad: Actually they used the MK2 sprites whenever possible. So for example, Kano, Sonya, and Goro are MK1 sprites b/c no MK2 version of them exists.

@Bandit: Man you're on drugs. With 42", it's noticeable going from 720p to 1080p for me. Viewing distance is the key here.

@xxXX_Insanities_Birth_XXxx: UMK3 is the most 'balanced' of the 2D Mortal Kombats. It's still horribly balanced in the grand scheme of things, but you can't pull off nearly as many jacked up things as in MK Trilogy.

I was curious - is the SNES version of Zombies much better than the Genesis? I see that it was censored, which is a big turn off for me. I'm just wondering if the Genesis is close enough in audio/visual fidelity. #dsiware

@Kanji08: I think the idea was "how much would it cost to acquire a physical copy versus download." It doesn't really matter if the copy is new or used in this sense. You're still getting "more" than a digital download because you'll have the physical media.
