Don’t forget Spyker

False. I know people who bought the prior version specifically because it had the manual when the newer one (until now) did not.

Anybody feel better now?

Ford had a 2010 gt run 6 years ago.

Translated “5 wheel car” using google into Vietnamese then searched the result

For $20/hr!

In 29 years, I’ve never once wondered about what kind of car Calvin’s dad drove. That said, I think you’re right in that the car cannot be narrowed down because it was purposefully ambiguous.

Exactly, Watterson was an artist. I’m sure the car for C&H was just a generic rendering of the most common econoboxes of the period he drew the toon. His drawings contain a mish mash of features from various models, just to draw the car quickly. He also needed to avoid “product placement” comments about his toons, and

I believe I could provide such a service in exchange for travel expenses and a small retainer.

then $kay divorces you and takes the GT as a settlement. Nooooo

That’s true, but there are still pitfalls in our way.

..but $kay would drive it so much you’d never see it ;-)

Can I buy borrow yours when you’re done with it? I need to finish my application!

It may sound like a cop-out, but I take a perverse comfort in the fact that we humans are so outrageously out of our depth.

If Ford Marketing knows what’s good for them, $kay is at the top of the list. So really, all you have to do is convince her to marry you, and then convince her to let you drive it.

This also applies on the personal level. When we’re young, we believe we’re invulnerable and take all kinds of silly risks. When we’re old, we’re fearful of everyday hazards and become much more risk-averse.

I like this conversation very much.

To me, it’s sort of pointless. Without the human element to connect with (as you say), it’s just machinery orbiting a track. We’re stone age critters deep down, who only really understand things in terms of how they relate to ourselves. If no human is involved, we can’t relate, so we don’t care.

I don’t really agree with you just on the principal that it makes the technology less user friendly.
