Yeah, my parents got two Roombas to help keep up with their dogs and the constant stream of fosters they have. Sadly, the time spent cleaning pet hair out of the Roomba did not equal the time saved by having the Roomba. They went back to an easy-to-empty canister vacuum.

I have 3 big dogs and the roomba saves me about 2 hours a week of vacuuming. I think its been a life saver. I also got the Dyson dust buster to get those dust bunnies that get trapped behind the furniture. We schedule it to run in the main part of the house 3x a week. I got my Roomba in a desperate attempt to keep up with my two cats’ shedding. Have not suffered a pooptastrophe so far, but cat turds are pretty small and concentrated and dry up fast.
