I’m blown away they even wanted Kardashians in that episode! Aside from my distaste for their general, collective presence in today’s media/pop culture, it seems like it would’ve been a waste. Prince showing up in that episode blew my mind - any lesser celebrity (especially of their E! genere) would’ve been “meh”...…

I came across Jez’s original article about this after the PS/disclaimer has been added, so from the get go I was aware of the “it’s a hoax” buzz. Moreover, I didn’t form a strong opinion regarding the probability of it being a hoax or not (just wasn’t that invested). HOWEVER, finding out that it was all a gross hoax…
