‘Justified’ was amazing.  I remember thinking Elmore Leonard’s short story set up the character Raylan Givens pretty well, but would they run out of material?  Turns out they didn’t, and Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins just killed it.

I’m doing the same just thinking about it.

The last scene between Raylan and Boyd was beautiful, two best frienenemies accepting they love and miss each other. I tear'd up.

Justified went out on one hell of a high note--probably just a notch behind season 2 as the best season of the show. 

For me, it’s the pitch perfect closure of both Justified—a flawless run of episodes—and Friday Night Lights--the perfect emotional catharsis for an already reliably heartfelt show.

D'oh! Stupid Nike. They missed a chance to sell a bunch of collector's item LBJ 23s, PLUS a bunch of new LBJ 6 and AD 23 jerseys. 

From what I hear, there were lots of trans roles in this script. All but the lead was going to be a trans actor. It was going to hire more trans actors than any movie in history. Now, it’s dead.

Oh look at that, she drops out, and guess what movie isn’t getting made now? Its almost like the movie business is a business, and when your A-list actor drops out, no one wants to make a movie staring some unknown transgendered person playing a transgendered person.  Big win for you guys!

Trying to shame her for these things is ludicrous.

See now, something like this has merit, I think. 

I decided to give the Wizards a go on 2k to see what I could do. After 3 years of making the playoffs with a losing record I finally was able to full on tank just as ownership cheaped out and I had to fire the scouting staff. Not one of my draft picks have made an all star game.

His market value was 10-12 million per year which means that the Knicks would probably offer him 20 after being spurned by KD, Kyrie, and Kawhi. Hmm. 20 million per year from the Knicks or a lifetime of doors slammed in your face? This is not as easy as it seems

I forgot that Trump left a temporary guy in charge of the DC team as well. Does the GM of the Wizards have to be confirmed by the Senate? 

They probably just turned on autodraft and went to bed.

He doesn’t have to get it. He’s the front runner. He can be handsy, he can attack Anita Hill (and get his wife to tell Hill to get over it), he can promote mass incarceration and none of that is going to change the fact that people still think that he’s what the party needs. 

If this were any other franchise, I would say that this long of a search is an indication that the owner is trying to find a GM who will agree to implement some sort of strategic vision. As it is the Wizards, and Leonsis let Grunfeld run the place for a decade and a half because he presumably forgot he owned the team,…
