I loved Takei's narration though. He sold everything.

I've watched the whole series too, and I partially agree with you. I had sympathy for Ali and Sarah ( though Ali's arc seemed a bit scattered), but I couldn't understand Josh's motivations for his actions. I hope that if this show gets a second season, we get to delve deeper into josh. Right now, he still just seems

I agree. There's always at least one moment in each episode where two characters connect with each other and support each other. I always look forward to those scenes.

New Girl has always had episodes that were more cartoonish. "Pepperwood" and "Neighbors" from season 2 come to mind. They generally don't work as well, in my opinion, but that doesn't indicate a shift. But they can be more hit-or-miss because your enjoyment of the episode is solely based on whether it was funny.

The cut to the dog killed me. Best use of Cece in a long time. Kind of a cartoonish episode, but it was funny enough to make up for it.

I know I'm late, but can anyone explain to me how the doctor became the head of the end-of-life ward? I didn't really understand that scene. Other than that, this was really good. I am looking forward to watching this season.
