I too am having a hard time getting the two contradictory stories to square: Either you saw him doing a wrong and you don’t feel bad for showing him what you thought of it, or you didn’t see him doing a wrong and it was all an accident, in which case you probably should have some regret.

Yeah, I got sick of reading them...

Already happened in the original article. Comments were full of idiots pointing fingers at the rider because “OMG THAT’S ILLEGAL.”

Nevermind that it was a perfectly safe pass on a straightaway with plenty of visibility, past a guy who was intentionally going well under the speed limit to antagonize them.

If you think a minor traffic infraction remotely justifies attempted murder: Fuck You.

But to him, no. Because he was doing something illegal.

I could plausibly see a teenager confusing the need for a public persona with phoniness. I think it’s also possible that she’s a nice, sweet person in public and an angry, bitter woman in private. Or, more likely, something in between the two. I think you’d have to be a lot closer to the situation to make that

Don’t most people have different personalities in different settings? I know I do. I have a work persona that’s very different from who I am with friends and with family. I’m even different in different friend groups. I’m sure there’s more to the story, but that particular complaint seems kind of weak

Thank you!

There was like zero new material in this set. I get that she’s busy this year and that perfecting new material requires performing it, but I didn’t wait for weeks to hear the same stuff I’ve already heard her deliver in interviews and in other places over the last year. Not enough surprises. Not enough laugh out loud

I’m starting to wonder if she’s actually not funny, but has great show writers.

Same here. I watch her show, and I went to her old stand up show a couple of years back and I watched Trainwreck. IMO her sketches are really superior to both her stand up and the movie. They’re hilarious, dark and biting.

Her sketch comedy is miles beyond her standup, IMO. I’ll chuckle at her jokes from time to time, but her skits have me on the floor. Her comedy is much better suited with a budget and production.

I am a fan of Amy Schumer but I find that I prefer Inside Amy Schumer to any of her standup performances that I’ve seen.

I doubt he was going that slow solely because he was inept. Likely he was going slow purposely to be an ass and provoke “those gull-durn kids on their fancy-pants furren motor-sickle” into passing like that so he can self-justify his dickishness.

Sanders added in the clarification post that his reason for passing the car was its slowing down to around 20 mph under the speed limit for that particular area.

“Sorry for passing you on a double yellow, I’d love to help pay for any hospital bills you have oh wait”

Looks fairly obviously intentional on the video to me.

...I don’t know that not wearing gear and passing on a double yellow equate to assault with a vehicle...

The driver should be charged with attempted murder - but because he “only” hit a motorcycle, he won’t be.

I’m surprised that the asshole driver even stopped.
