I will simply bookmark thetakeout.com/latest and use that. I hate the new GMG design that is working its way through all the sites (this is essentially the Gizmodo design).

I met Alex in 1990 in Anchorage. He and his new bride were honeymooning, but he stopped at the Alaska Zoo to see a musk ox that he had “adopted” after a question on the show made him curious. I was there as a cub reporter for the Anchorage Times (moment of silence, please).
This isn’t new. We’ve had this at our HEBs in Texas for as long as I remember:
All-Dressed are available at Target.
I posted the cookie recipe down-thread, if you can’t see it let me know :)
I posted it below - enjoy!
Sure! I use Michael Ruhlman’s basic cookie dough recipe from Ratio but I increase the sugar and add and egg to keep it together.
It isn’t ridiculous or outrageous or even that unusual: a sandwich. But what a sandwich it was. From the now lost-to-us A.G. Glad to be of service, lol.
But make sure corkfighting isn’t illegal in your state.
I haven’t read the article yet but I just wanted to drop into the comments to say the headline alone made me viscerally uncomfortable.
I have many good points about raisins!
Can I just say how (and with all due respect to the majority of Takeout staff) nice it is to have a POC writer take part in these drafts? Korean potato salad is such an out of left field choice and reminded me how often I’d read these articles and think to myself “wow, can’t believe they misses [insert “ethnic” food…
