When I was about 9-10 years old (30 now), I remember I drifted to a part of the pool that suddenly dipped about 2 feet with no indication, and put me firmly in “whoa I may go under” territory. I remember calling to a couple of older people for help nearby and said I might drown and they just started laughing at me.

Along with these and your ongoing commentary on Dwarf Fortress, these are really making me wish both of them were out on Switch, or that I just broke my leg and was forced to be home more.

The last two episodes kind of reminded me of the Relationship mechanic scenes in Fire Emblem games, every combo of characters meeting others and interacting in their own way. Maybe that’s why I like these episodes more than the average bear.

Anytime I’ve gone on a museum date, I’ve never heard from them again. Same goes for ice cream dates, park dates, bar dates, and dancing dates.

I also love how the article header picture has the woman looking very disinterested in the date. 

Seriously. While I get no one wants to waste their time with someone they don’t see a future with, I find approaching dating from a more sterile, less emotional angle like that tends to result in worse dates. I get our priorities change as we get older but emotions are still emotions.
