Curious: I know this is beyond hypothetical, but suppose Gruden actually started making a string of positive decisions. Do we gradually make it lighter?

After reading the book about the USFL (Football for a buck, bought it because it was promoted here, was not disappointed), my takeaway is that if a league wants to compete with the NFL at all, it should be fun and ridiculous above all else.

I feel that story belongs elsewhere, like scandal or shittiest organization.

I’ve been a little out of the loop for soccer these past few years, but on Saturday, a friend left a running group early to go watch this game. When he told me the teams, I just said “that’s not going to end well”. He ended up posting later that he was annoyed but not surprised it escalated that badly.

Strange question, and if anyone who has the game can answer, please do: Like the more recent mainline Pokemon games, does this game give you the option to play in a different language? I found playing Pokemon X, which was also a little too easy, over again in spanish gave it an extra sense of fun. I’m on the fence…

Despite not being familiar with the subject matter, I found this story prettt riveting, well written and such, and I thank you for writing it.

Side note, as a Westchester resident for years, I never understood how the city of Yonkers functioned in a snow storm. It’s basically like daring someone to walk a tight rope, driving up and down those hills in snow. 

I feel what used to lead to shame and social isolation nowadays leads to shit like Gab, where people get more and more echo chamber reenforcement. It’s the Kobiyashi Maru we have to call life.
