Meanwhile, on the other side of the pool...
I see no problem with the underwater cameras, I see a problem with freaking out over seeing a woman’s nipple, especially in this context. They’re not sex objects, they’re athletes competing. This view gives a good look at a sport where a lot more happens under the surface of the water than the casual fan realizes.…
And half that padding is just incredibly detailed descriptions of environments, outfits and characters - which is not something that takes up plot time on screen.
Yes? Have you? The series definitely has its issues, but like I said, if it’s adapted right, it can be a rival to GoT. By adapted, I don’t mean shot scene for scene. There would need to be a cleansing the likes of which have not been seen since Winter’s Heart. It would require actual rewriting, and reordering, and…
And, yes, there’s Game of Thrones, but I would argue it lost a lot of steam over the past couple seasons.
Hope it actually is made as an animated series. I think that’d be the only way to do it justice.
Blood and bloody ashes people! Light burn you if this doesn’t happen!
This was basically a filler episode (which is odd for episode one I guess) but it’s all a lead up to bigger things: Jon and Castle Black, Dany and Vaes Dothrak, Sansa and Brienne adventures, Tyrells and the Sparrows, Jamie and the Riverlands.
Davis has been my favorite “good guy” since his first chapter in Book 2.
Davos is really your only other option for a hero besides Brienne though he doesn’t have nearly the same combat skills as her.
I’m pretty disappointed in how much of a chump they made Hotah into, but at least it’s helping wrap up the Dorne crap.
I thought it was great. Totally different vibe from any of the other Marvel films. Plus, it’s the first trailer cut from a movie that wrapped about a week ago. I’m sure future trailers will get into Strange’s character motivations a bit more.
Well, Dr Strange was a doctor who was also a jerk, but good at his job...so...seems perfect to me.
Katherine Hepburn is....Dr. Strange!
I cringed. The exploitative factor was dialed up like woah. I was hoping it wouldn’t feel as whitewashey as it ended up feeling. The visuals look cool af though.
Am I the only one okay with this? Because I sometimes feel like I’m the only one okay with this. There are three segments of the MCU: Movies, ABC, and Netflix (tbd where Cloak and Dagger falls). I’ve rather gotten used to the fact that the three will probably never meet up except for maybe the occasional references to…
Dude Where’s My Car-eer?
“Challenge accepted.” — Johnny Manziel
So Gordon likes marijuana more than football. I get it. One is absolutely terrible for your health and well being. The other is an illegal drug.
But did he inhale?
