I had been looking forward to today and the conclusion of this series, and while I am usually not disappointed by Deadspin, as a Cardinals’ fan, I feel tremendously let down... Not because there wasn’t a post for the Cardinals, but rather, that this series ended in the least satisfying way imaginable.
At parties where people laugh hysterically at mediocre, predictable jokes that are unnecessarily strung out, I’m probably not a lot of fun, no.
Coates is, in my opinion, the greatest writer of this time, in regards to his skill and the fact that he manages to handle previously “taboo” subjects with the deftness of a virtuoso at Carnegie Hall, as well as the fact that he is a writer that legitimately excites when one of his projects is announced or released…
So as a listener of multiple podcasts, it probably doesn’t help that the same companies are advertising on every one. I mean, how many times can one man order razors or design his own website?
