The cost of cars is just way too high, ditto a performance trim of something. Then there are the inherent in-utility of a sports car vs just getting a SUV.

Trackdays are pricy, considering the cost of entry, the prep, the travel to get to a track, the fuel burnt at the track and wear and tear, it’s a few hundred to a thousand for a track day.
Still won’t be 2035. EV won’t take over in the next 5 years. The 2035 ban is looking increasingly like a fairytale.
I think that’s a misconception. Just because you cannot buy a new ICE car in 2035 doesn’t mean everyone will all of a sudden stop driving them and all the gas stations will go away. People drive all manners of cars that are 20 years old now, still plenty of 30 year old Corollas and Jeeps on the road. It’ll be 2060…
How does it make almost 200hp and still take 8s to hit 60mph....
The BMW solves the EV problem imo. Most people drive a small range for their daily commute, even less now that a lot of them WFH. Yet range anxiety is so toxic. A plugin hybrid solves it most of the time.
My takeaway from this is, 3.3m is damn cheap for that house boat thing. Now I kind of want one despite not being able to afford it.
I am curious about this as well. As I was watching Alonso back Hamilton up but Ocon just didn’t seem like he had the pace to make a move or even get close, nvm it meant that Ocon couldn’t try to out run his 5 sec penalty to try and save some points as it slowed the 3 cars down and gave Norris a huge gap.
The BMW starts at 42k and the Accord starts at 27. Not quite the 25k you are trying to sell. And the BMW is a plugin hybrid while the Accord is a regular hybrid, again not quite the same. The Rav4 Prime(40k) costs a lot more than the hybrid(29k) as well, that prime badge must be worth a lot.
Disagree. We have a X3 and a M3, if you take out the big 6 cyl twin turbos they are effectively equivalents of each other in sedan and SUV form. If we are going shopping, taking the kid out, going on a road trip, anything that isn’t just myself enjoying the drive the X3 is more convenient and easier to live with every…
This hurts, every single time.
There are a few very important reasons why they are designed like that. An integrated screen in a dash would mean the dash is now as high as the top of the screen. If it isn’t then the screen isn’t at eye level and would be more dangerous to use while on the road.
The Corolla hatch is supposed to be quite tight in the back for leg room, I’d imagine the Integra to be more spacious lengthwise. Depends I guess how tall you actually are.
I think piano black still has no place on a key. At this day and age the key should be ceramic or glass with real metal for the bright work, that would be a fine key. Certain plastics are fine too, there are plastic keys that can be very premium.
Perhaps, though I would think a manual tranny would be smaller than the ZF8. Perhaps just the place where the stick comes out just doesn’t match.
Here’s the thing, the B58 WAS mated to a manual in the F30 340i, so there was already a tranny ready to go. Now that engine was the older revision but I’d like to think since the engine family is the same the hard bits where the tranny mounts to would be mostly similar.
The B48 is a pretty good engine, I think it’ll be fine.
I looked up and STI sales were something like 20,000 cars a year. Whether if it’s both WRX and STI or just STI I’m not sure.
I test drove a friend’s NA with a racing bucket and had exactly the same problem. My head stuck out over the windshield, I couldn’t see the gauges, the ergonomics were just all wrong.
This very much so. The volume doesn’t mean shit when it’s an awkward shape or design with an overly sloped hatch glass. We hauled our stroller and car seat to all the dealers when we were shopping for an SUV, and the results are surprising. It really shows why the Rav4 and CR-V are such popular vehicles.
