Edith problem is that she loves her family. She'd be more than ready to leave forever because of their treatment of her, but she loves them. Especially her grandmother I think. Maybe not so much Mary any longer.

She does and she will, she just has to crawl back on the wagon. It can only go up from where she was. As soon as she sees that her parents continue to stand by her it will all be better.

It totally was! Though at the same time they were loyal to Edith… she told Rosamund she didn't want her mother to know. Edith should have been the one to tell her. But I understand why she didn't. Her parents weren't especially loving to her in the past.
The only time in the whole series where I could see that Cora

Probably! Though Mary had sex twice out of marriage and only used contraceptives once… There are so many great ways this could go! But since it's Fellows, it'll probably happen off-screen. Like when Cora learned about Marigold, now I would have loved to see her face!

No, but Mary once said that Edith is as mysterious as a bucket, so her reaction will be interesting.

Oh yes, they may.

Marigold is one and a half, she can have a scoop of ice cream. And the champagne is obviously for Edith.

Edith weened Marigold. Marigold spent at least 2 months with Edith
before Edith left.

Edith weened Marigold. Marigold spent at least 2 months with Edith before Edith left.

Edith weened Marigold. Marigold spent at least 2 months with Edith before Edith left. Plus, Mrs, Drewe has three other kids and will get over it. Edith ouldn't have gotten over her pain.

-She lied to Anthony to get him away from Edith.
-She made Anna lie to her husband on more than one occasion.
-She kissed Matthew when he was engaged to Lavinia.
-She is horrible to a grieving Edith (she went through the same, but Edith was nice to her -> scene on the stairs on Valentines Day)
- and so many more, these

Mrs. Drewe has three other kids, whereas Edith may actually kill herself if she isn't reunited with her child (which she weened for many months before she gave her up). Mrs. Drewe will get over it, I feel bad for her too, but this couldn't be avoided.
Mary can avoid her attitude.

I agree with the best moment 'in' the episode! I so hope Mary will learn of Marigolds true parentage next season. I want tEdith to win against Mary once (I want her to catch her offguard).

The way this is written is very first season character-wise…
