While it’s stupid to deify Gaben and Valve, they are really not the same as EA and Activision. Like, not releasing the sequel of a very popular game that WILL generate massive profits is the opposite of what EA and Activision would do. If Valve was the same type of company, then we would be waiting for Half-Life 13,

Actually, I think those companies will continue to thrive because they tend to be good at sifting through the hatred and figuring out what’s nonsense vs. what’s genuine criticism that they should respond to. YouTube dislikes for a game that isn’t out yet = nonsense. Diablo III auction house = genuine criticism.

For one, the Wii U is not doing very well. Secondly the core gamers dont really care about gimmicky console hardware and only first party titles. They care about being able to play AAA games as well and not having to buy 2 to 3 systems to do it.

Except the GameCube was supported with a ton of great games. Wii U doesn’t have much and the system is getting abandoned. Wii U didn’t even last long enough to have an exclusive Zelda. It’s really not the same. At all.

Incredibly relevant, and once you finish watching this you’ll never be able to un-see what it points out. (Start at 0:08.)

Yeah. He must work out.

This is directly based on a very old drawing that used to circle the internet before memes or social media even took off.

“Take a Step Forward”

Does this mean we’re getting HL3?

The meat of the game is in deathmatch, which you can play solo or with teammates, against bots or against other players

I think that pirating games you can’t afford, while spending much of your available income on gaming already, is really the only legit reasons to pirate. I used to pirate when I was younger, but I also spent most of my excess income on games already. I literally couldn’t afford every game I wanted to play. I don’t

I think that’s the thing for me. If you’re a broke teenager, and you pirate, I won’t really hold it against you, because, hell, I grew up in the age of Napster and remember how Napster enabled me to discover music outside of anything I’d ever listened to before and broadened my horizons. And I pirated games because I

The thing that sets them apart is the massive amount of first-party titles. You can’t play Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, or Metroid on the other consoles. I’m getting tired of all the motion-contolled, 3D, screen-on-the-controller gimmicks. If they made a console as or more powerful than the current consoles on the market,

I wish Nintendo would stop focusing so much on gimmicks and just make something really solid and basic. This extends to the games too. So many of their recent 1st-party games have been based around some gimmick, to varying success.

Jesus, why would you ever switch the pie chart colors like that?

If you think about it like a MacBook Pro competitor (which it is) then it starts to make sense. The biggest difference is that the parts inside aren’t cheap 3 year old shit like you’d find in a Macbook. At least you get $2000 worth of computer from Razer.
