The most important thing to do when going through a performance review is to identify your value to the company. It’s not about bragging. It’s not getting people to say you are great. Most importantly, it is not about how hard you worked. No one cares how hard you work. It is about the impact of the work you did.

I’m curious. Do you actually know anyone who follows a paleo-type diet that believes they are recreating the diet of cavemen? I’ve never come across anyone with that interpretation of paleo-type diets.

Great point. We know very little about food tolerance. Whole 30 cuts out a bunch of foods, not because they are bad for everyone, but because they COULD be bad for you as an individual.

Interesting data. For many people this will be useful. However, the number of hours does no account for sleep quality. It also does not show any causality. Still, it asks some good questions. Just don’t assume that if you start sleeping 8-9.5 hours you’ll be happier.

Anecdotal I know, but the Bulletproof Diet changed my life. Butter and MCT in the morning helped me lose 20 pounds in three months. Resolved a host of health problems. I hate PDF. I like to break down large pieces of text into smaller chunks using incremental reading. PDF makes it very difficult. Without the semantics of XML or HTML5, converting to text reliably is impossible.

If you time it right, you can take a loan when the market is high and pay it back while the market drops. Instead of losing out on earnings, you pay back with interest and grow your plan. Right now seems like a decent time for this.
