I use a Basis, mostly for sleep tracking and it compared well to my ZEO. If tracking REM and deep sleep is important, BASIS seems to be the only consumer-grade product out there.

Except that most people look at this as an addition/subtraction problem, when it's really calculus. If you eat less and move more, but your resting metabolism decreases, you might end up at the same weight, but with less energy and focus. That does happen. Hormones play an important part for those with metabolic…
Butter, the original super food.
You make a great point. I don't find the codeacademy method useful for the same reason you do. You learn what to type, but not why. Better to go through a basic tutorial and build from there by working on your own project while reading books, blogs and watching specific videos.
I started doing this at work. Most of my meetings are on the phone. I would typically end up three or four minutes late because I would always try to get something done before a meeting. Now I join ten or fifteen minutes early and continue working until the meeting starts. Works great.
I was recently watching a co-worker using NPP and was shocked at how well Python code completion works out of the box. No amount of tweaking gives me good code completion in Sublime Text. NPP is great. Just wish they supported other platforms than Windows.
Can't wait for a Linux and Windows version. Hopefully, it has better code-completion plugins than SublimeText
I split it up between letting my mind wander and listening to podcasts. I learn a lot from podcasts and listen to shows that make me think. Even if I don't catch everything, I catch something.
ctrl>shift>v is great to move emails. I have a folder under my inbox named "current". I use it for emails I might want to search for later. When I process my inbox, I use ctrl>shift>v and then the arrow keys to navigate to the folder. I can generally process an inbox of 30-40 emails quickly without using the mouse.
I just moved from a four-year-old WRT to an ASUS RT-AC68U and the difference is dramatic. I get a strong 5G signal throughout the house, where I used to only get a good 5G signal close to the router. My Linux pc gets the same download speeds on wifi as my son's PC using an ethernet cable. Connections are stable, HD…
I was diagnosed a while back and getting a CPAP machine changed my life. I've since gotten healthier and don't need the CPAP anymore as long as I sleep on my side.
Peppermint oil for focus. Just tried this recently, I add one drop of peppermint oil to my water and it helps me focus even when I'm tired. First time I tried it in the early evening I couldn't fall asleep until 1am.
(Not the original poster). I use fresh ginger. The recipe goes like this:
I do the same. The tea clears up cold symptoms faster than anything I've tried including Nyquil.
Paint.net is great because you can use it without any graphics training. Someone who just has basic needs can fire it up and the intuitive interface just works. Might not be as powerful as gimp, but fantastic for those who are not graphically inclined. Ooh, me, me, pick me. Yup, I'm not graphically inclined.
No Zeo? It measures light, deep and REM sleep. Tracks it online.
I just don't get the whole concept of beauty pageants. The whole thing seems silly to me, and having Donald Trump involved makesit more of a freak show. We should just ignore the whole pageant culture.
I use the same wifi password for everyone I help. That way I should always know their passcode.
"The Kaplan–Meier curves for the primary end point diverged soon after the trial started, but no effect on all-cause mortality was apparent (Figure 1). " So, in this diet, you might not die of heart disease, but you're just as likely to die. Like many studies, they focus on heart disease instead of all-cause…
Most mainstream doctor's don't have the knowledge to diagnose problems caused by wheat and gluten. They still follow nutritional guidelines created long ago, and maintained by people with financial ties to the food industry. Do you really want to count on them for your health?
