Actually, while snakes are a natural enemy of Armadillos, they are far from the only one and the Armadillo is more likely than not to be killing the snake. I may have gotten carried away in my vision of snake Armadillo combat when posting  earlier comment! But Armadillos are the very definition of “non-squishable”

I used to be a design engineer for a class 8 truck OEM in charge of front structures - including deer guards. To do the job well meant learning what animals really lead to truck downtime when you hit them. The answer? Armadillos! Armadillos! Armadillos!
