The cop is talking out his ass the Florida man is gonna eat it for breakfast!

I mean, officers will say whatever they have to say to coerce defendants into going along with them, consenting to searches that would otherwise be completely unconstitutional, so I don’t know why you’d go off statements in the video.  The cop is talking out of his ass and hoping the guy will be intimidated.

Interesting -- I figured you’d get financially penalized for higher education.

I actually looked into becoming a state trooper; they offer a... wait for it... 5% salary increase for a bachelors degree. Their salaries top out at about $100k... so that’s $5000 extra per year you get ($417 a month), before taxes, for ~4 years of post-secondary specialized (and expensive!) education. Laughable.

Which is why I never bring up how you gave me anal warts.

It’s not a joke, it’s (almost) the law! It’s a job for the mediocre, the guys who just get by in life. Smart people wouldn’t want to do the job for very long, so they simply hire people just above knuckle-dragging intelligence.

Personally, I’d take the winnings from court to send everyone in the county a letter that says “I EAT ASS” and a a note to call the local sheriff’s office if they’d like an explanation.

Dumb sticker, but right on the law. And right that it is a parent’ job to talk to their kid about issues as and when they come up. Too many parents want to wait for a “perfect time” to discuss stuff with their kids, but there is no perfect time except whenever they come up. What those parents really mean is they don’t…

In reality, the lawyer will most likely wind up with the majority of any settlement. And I’m sure the lawyer will do what any Florida-based lawyer who defends people with ass-related bumper/window stickers would do with the money...
