What a time to be alive !

I lived in Katy (just outside of Houston) and hated my HOA. They forced lawn maintenance on the front of the house. The good part was everyone’s lawn was cut EVERY WEEK so it was trimmed. But for the price they charged I could have hired a company to do the front and rear of my house. Everything behind the fence was

Basically, the HOA is a real life conglomeration of all the people who probably troll on Youtube (or any social media): They have literally nothing at all to add to the conversation, but they just want to feel powerful by making their idiotic opinions known.

I grew up in Texas, and I can confirm all of that. The social pressure for conformity is overwhelming, the submission to certain (Republican/Christian) authorities is absolute and unwavering, yet people are apoplectic at the idea of tyrants forcing Colton and Cassiddee to read satanic books like Harry Potter in

HOA = bunch of goobers that want to play politics more than anything.

Homeowner Oppression Association?

If you like freedom, don’t live in an HOA.

Cars are not a “weird” hobby. Fuck HOA’s.

I browse house listings occasionally and “No HOA” is always touted as a big, positive selling point. I agree, which is why I bought an older house without one.

I am lucky and don’t have an HOA.  There’s no way the property value would go up because of one. I think it’s a load of crap and HOA’s have way too much power.

If you like cars, don’t live in an HOA.

You knock it off David Tracy! You’re going to make these popular and pricier for those of us who were already aware of how great they are!

i think you are overestimating what grown ass adults would be capable of... working in management, even with professional people, is a lot more like teaching kinder garden than you may think

Awesome. One would think that grown ass adults would be capable of finding their own next jobs without help from their former employer, yet at the same time one would also think that the UAW would do more for its members than siphon off dues to fund 20-odd Democratic POTUS candidates.

I drove a Chrysler LeBaron convertible at one point, and I have to say- the K-cars were not all bad. The LeBaron was reasonably well built with a lot of attention to detail. In contrast with the Citation that my sister had- that car was a disaster in design, ergonomics , execution and everything else.

Yeah let’s just not really discuss teh MOPAR RWD conversion forteh Plymouth Laser and Dodge Daytona that should have begotten RWD versions of these cars, allowing Chrysler to actually get in the RWD sport coupe game fairly cheaply and no look like a bunch of broke chump during this point in time.

You can barely see it in the photo but these had a squeeze ball that you would squeeze to inflate air bladders in the seat. Just an interesting way to get what you want when the accountants say “no” to your compressors for the air bladders.

They may be horribly dated, but man those seats look comfortable. Like a well worn rocking chair, I just want to sink into one and relax.

This ad really makes me want one. I guess I'm forever warped from spending my impressionable years in 1980s Mopars.
