Yes. The framing story is an insanely jarring contrast to the Little Prince segments. Also, despite many claims it was a short book and they therefore needed the fill, it was completely unnecessary. The old Little Prince television show makes that abundantly clear.

Did you walk out?

Great parts, beautiful to look at, heartfelt messages, all gone to crap in the last 5 minutes. Stupid forced happy ending undercuts the whole movie.

The trailer made it look pretty awful. Stylish vignettes of the book’s story are sandwiched between a completely banal, ugly, and unnecessary framing story presented in the most generic Dreamworks-style CGI possible.

I saw it on a plane. It’s terrible, guys.

Worried that someone might mistake you for more awesome than you actually are?

Oh my God, I loved this movie SOOOOO much. We took the 5-year-old to see it last night, and while he really liked it, I think my husband and I laughed harder and longer than even he did.

Most theaters don’t allow masks so no fursuits at the theater.

31 y/o female and I went alone yesterday. There were a ton of 20 and 30 something men and women without children. Just go.

We took our 5-year-old to see it at 6PM on a Sunday, figuring most responsible parents would be getting their kids to eat dinner by then, but the theater was PACKED, mostly with adults there without kids. Go. No one will look twice at you. It’s a wonderful, wonderful film.

Take a cat in a stroller or a boy child doll. I think if you go full creepy it might even it back out!

I went as an adult male yesterday, and while I definitely felt like a creep when I bought the ticket, I got over it because the movie was so good.

When I saw Inside Out with my bf and our friend, we were surprised to see that we weren’t the only group of 20-somethings seeing the movie sans children
