I sent Raph this listing in part because I’m legitimately considering buying it, but also because I knew that if we wrote about it, maybe someone would buy it out from under me.

And that might not be bad a bad thing, because getting this van would be a hassle. Plus, the car situation has gotten a bit out of hand here…

The way his cancer charity spends its money is also extremely sketchy. He basically lets sick kids come to his vacation home and uses donations to do renovations.

I want to like this, I really do. But there’s just too many cases of “this is changed from factory” without a justification as to why. And 35K is a lot of money for someone else’s project that’s kind of duct taped together. A reluctant CP. Especially after seeing the original.

Don’t really need to. It wasn’t a flawed design from the start like most GM products. All they need to do is keep it emissions and crash compliant, and they can just put in a new head unit every few years to keep up.
