In hindsight it’s pretty clear that Trump’s 2015 “I like people who don’t get caught” comment about McCain was a watershed moment for the GOP. Until that point, Trump had of course said a lot of horrible and stupid things, but he hadn’t really attacked and disgraced anything that the GOP held as absolute sacrosanct.

I just wanted to talk. I didn't even bring my axe.

Toyota or not, the thing’s got 200,00 miles on it for Christ’s sake... CP

And let’s not forget Rand Paul, who recently went to Canada for the surgery he needed after the beat-down from his neighbor!

And let’s not forget Rand Paul, who recently went to Canada for the surgery he needed after the beat-down from his neighbor! Yeah, our health care in America is great :(

I live in Michigan. If I could tell you how many of my really well off friends, none of whom work in medical, talk about the influx of Canadians getting their healthcare here, you would think there was some kind of national emergency.

Historically, the best solution to people like this is the guillotine.

She may be one of the smarter ones in 45's administration. Having said that I still have a feeling she thought that Finnish people wouldn’t understand English, and so they wouldn’t clap back on her.

Aye, but it’s not just the subsidization  -- it’s also the controlling of prices, limitations on profits and different approaches to quality control, training and malpractice. There’s so much more about the European health care systems than subsidization and raw costs per procedure or service.

For some reason I find this very funny. Porsche has finally put the 911 shape on the Cayenne.

Canadian here, my wife gave birth last year... We received free ultrasounds and prenatal testing throughout, free access to midwifery care, free access to a birth centre that was like a hotel suit with a fireplace and a tub. My wife had complications, we were transferred to a hospital (for free), had an emergency

She was right in a way, I didn’t like the answer. Mostly in that I’m now angry that Finns pay barely anything for great healthcare, while I’m paying out of my asshole for...let’s say adequate health care.

That was my first thought too. I lived in Sweden briefly in 2013, and their healthcare system and access to quality care is exponentially better than ours. 300 crowns (about $45 USD) to see a doctor, and rarely anything else out of pocket. Plus tons of creams, pills, ointments, treatments, etc. that aren’t FDA

I’m in Canada. I went to a clinic on Wednesday for back pain. Got a same day appointment. Waited about 15 minutes. Got a prescription for pain medication. Went to another clinic for an x-ray. Waited less than 1 minute. All told I lost about 1 hour of work and paid a total of $9 (for the medication.) I’m so happy I’m

The hospital system I normally went to decided to just up and close their dermatology department. I made a new patient appointment with the other major hospital system in our city in June 2018. That appointment was last week.

I have enjoyed these tweets. Haley’s problem is she’s comparing the cost to the citizen, seeing a lower number for Finns and assuming it must have been a lesser product because she can’t fathom a government subsidizing health costs for the benefit of its people without worry for profit.

As fun as this was to read, you realize that you can’t topple this lady with finicky things like facts, right?

But but but...if we had some commie pinko European socialist healthcare here we’d have to wait MONTHS just to get in to see a doctor!

difficulty in finding mechanics who can install them

How is this any different than Pagani offering the Zonda for an ever increasing price?
