I’d been talking to this guy online for a few weeks. We’d met on an rpg, started talking about Tolkein and Lovecraft and whatnot. He mentions The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. Says it’s really great. “Huh,” I go, “There’s a copy of that in a box in the attic.”
