AIs don’t “take inspiration” from ANYTHING. That’s the difference. You’re humanizing an algorithm. They literally steal the characteristics of an artist’s style and then overlay it onto other styles like a fucking connect-the-dots to reproduce something *unique* but as much as mathematically possible in-the-style-of

why is it only seemingly visual artists getting hot and bothered by this stuff?

Hands are hard to draw, but you will never come across a character artist who has the level of proportion and rendering seen in that Harley/Joker image who makes that bad of nightmare hands.

This Activision deal is not the same thing as Sony to buy up smaller studios one at a time. Sony buying a single studio does not significantly change the competitive landscape. This deal is on a completely different level, as the price plainly indicates. Those smaller deals can fly under the radar. The FTC is

Also TGA is a marketing showcase so its ‘awards’ don’t matter anyway.”

Those people are mostly just mad that their beloved “legit” games don’t have an audience as large. I can’t say I care for Gatcha Mechanics, but Genshin does have a legitimately well designed and beautiful world to explore.

Yep, and “vote for X because we can’t let Y win” is pretty much equally as illegitimate.

This is the best news I’ve heard all week. I’m so happy for those folks. I’ve always loved their work. They truly knew how to port games in an ocean of shitty half assed handoffs—Vicarious Visions was the one I’d look for in that next game coming to the system I had.

The industry needed this and VV/ATVI Albany

Hello, I’m back once again to plug the fantastic 2018 Battletech game made by Hairbrained Schemes. The game has great visuals, awesome customization options, and a decent story. And, more importantly, it has some fantastic mods that add even more depth to an already great game.

That’s because Emmet is just some regular guy, not an iconic character people have been growing up with for 40 years, and who has had a well-established voice for more than half of that time.

Hopefully Pratt’s voice is better than we all fear, because I think he actually did a really good job as Emmet in The LEGO Movie.

Alan Moore is rolling in his coffin.

There is a reason the Helena Taylor controversy got so big in the first place. Players cared enough about the character that they were at the time rightfully upset.

Gameplay is important but I don’t think a lot of gamers realised how important a decent story and fun character can add. Bayo 3 messed up both aspects.

Hell yeah.

reminder that copyright isnt real and should be disregarded as frequently and safely as possible.

It’s only a matter of time before they sick those lawyers on regular Steam players with Nintendo PFPs.

This is two stories linking to Woolie in two days, so at the very least, a Woolie fan! As we should all be.

I would be surprised if Bayo 4 ever happens. It took almost 5 years for Bayo 3 to come out. And in spite of Helena Taylor’s comments backfiring on her, leading to a minor uptick in preorders, the sales for Bayonetta 3 are apparently very marginally better than Bayo 2. I doubt this game made much of a blip on

I don’t think it’s fair to call Bayo 3 “an absolute MISERABLE time,” although there are definitely people on the internet who are only capable of communicating with extreme hyperbole and love starting fights who might say that.
