Don’t forget, this wasn’t solely about NFTs; it was partially in response to another content marketplace, Gumroad, lying about considering them, harassing a former contractor, and then attempting to expose at least one user that publicly disapproved of their actions. Oof.

BUT I thought we were still early???!!?!? Which is it? Should I have fun staying poor or should I jump in because its still early.

More of the “you just don’t understand it yet” argument from the crypto bros.

Someone has spent a lot of money on NFTs.

Oh my God, it just hit me.

They already practically sell the promise and .jpeg of a ship, I am honestly goddamn shocked they don’t sell NFTs of those fuckers already.

Man, entitled gamers strike again. Just because they *paid* for a *video game* they expect actual progress and updates towards that game being completed.  What entitled babies.

I built my first rig and spent a ton of money just so I would be able to crank up the one game I was looking forward to more than any other to Ultra: Cyberpunk 2077

100% this. I still fondly remember the days of mailing in “borrow” requests to addresses in fanzines and receiving a very poorly copied VHS of badly subbed anime.

This will likely be the best thing I read today. Thank you for sharing.

Sorry, DBZA, I will no longer be supporting the official release.

And what I’ve learned from toei’s shitty tactics is that it’s ethically fine to steal as much toei owned content as possible.

As wonderful as it would be to be able to play my PS3 back catalogue (and PS1, PS2) on PS5 from the original media (which I stupidly still have as a complete game hoarder), this is about as likely to happen as Sony giving away free TVs to anyone who’d ever bought one of their devices. Simply put, if there’s no way to
