You wouldn’t believe how many of his sycophants took to the skies to say that no, actually, it was perfectly reasonable for him to film people (including a child if I’m not mistaken) in a public restroom. Totally normal behavior.

Oh certainly, it’d hard to care much when you have a mountain of dollar bills blocking everybody’s angry comments.

Boy, sure do hope Valve intends to refund that cost to everybody. Sure would be pretty crap if Valve just let Ubisoft steal money from people using their platform like that. Boy.

I feel like the idea of this as a supply chain issue is a little strange when it’s definitely more likely that Sony just doesn’t want copies circulating through the used shops of the world, allowing people to play the game without giving them money for it.

Then publishers should implement better methods to allow users to host their own multiplayer sessions, like we used to be able to in online games before we entered the Hell on the Earth Forever arc of humanity. But then if you were able to do that, how would these companies re-sell you the games in the future.

Are customers really supposed to waste their money on games that won’t continue to function? I would never buy a multiplayer game if I knew that were the rule.

Having had this discussion with a lot of folks, I think most often the ones concerned with hours to complete are the people who can’t afford a lot of games. The hobby is already a really expensive one and if you’re going to be throwing sixty dollars (or the regional equivalent) at something, you want to know you’ll

That’s more what I meant - there would be a lot to potentially keep track of, and Infinite’s world is...weird. It often felt less like an open world and more like a collection of hubs that you have a travel time between, so I could see that sort of zone-based restriction.

A core feature that has been in every level-based game, to be sure. I can imagine them jumping to an open world presented new challenges for implementing co-op though, such as what to do if one player enters a dedicated mission trigger while the other is off driving God knows where.

It’s even infested LinkedIn of all places at this point. People will post the most asinine wretched things with their “professional” accounts that link directly to their employer and oftentimes their direct superior. It’s ridiculous.

Fun fact: anyone can call themselves an “insider” and make stuff up.

“We’ve been doing it for a lot longer than you think” is another.

I have to disagree with you on this one. I adore Twilight but Wind Waker stands toe-to-toe with Breath of the Wild for that crown.

Bungie is a subsidiary (or in the process of becoming one) of Sony, a company that had a revenue of 81 billion dollars in 2021. I think we can comfortably lump them under that umbrella.

Nightdive’s reputation up to now has been pretty glowing so this is a huge disappointment, and I’d be curious to hear about the decision-making that led to this final product.

You can record yourself doing anything and put “content creator” in your job description, it doesn’t make him not a whale, addict, or plain moron.

I bet the developers of this game would have appreciated you putting its title in the headline rather than that of another game you’re using it to bash.

If we’re willing to believe them on this, that has to be one of the worst coincidences possible. Winter holiday event helmet gets renamed to an ape? Pride rainbow nameplate? Whatever, it’s a weird accident but players get to learn an animal fact that day. For Juneteenth? Someone might have to be the sacrificial lamb

I hope the folks still working there are doing well and staying safe, the state of the game should be the least of their worries. Slava Ukraini.

Have they said that it might return in the future or is it gone for good?
