Somehow I feel like I’ve come to a weird peace with it all because of that. I’m not necessarily against paying for armour pieces but until the game is a year or two old and I can see a wider breadth of what parts will be available where, it’s not worth it for me.

Not seeing it mentioned here: what might have tripped you up is that the “Arcade” SKU of the 360 required an external drive attached to be able to play original Xbox games, which a younger me learned one day when trying to pop in Battlefront 2.

I’ve found that Discord has the positive communities worth spending one’s time in, now...

I can’t speak to why the HD Collection hasn’t been re-released every chance they had, but for Guns of the Patriots specifically, it’s because it was designed so much for the PS3's hardware that porting it anywhere else would be a significant effort.

I enjoyed it a fair amount but it is maybe the most 3/5-star game I’ve ever played. Excited to see what a sequel might have in store though.

I want to say that policy of boosters running in real-time started with Call of Duty, can someone correct me if I’m wrong on that one?

I don’t think anyone was seriously stating this was a monopoly...

I’m not too concerned. I picked up a Series S not too long ago and haven’t been starved for games to play in the slightest.

There are a couple understandable ones; InXile, Obsidian, DoubleFine, and Undead Labs were all already deep into production or in the process of releasing games when their acquisitions were announced. Man, it would be a shame if something happened to this guy, huh? Big shame. Really big shame.

One day. One day my children will play STALKER 2. This is not that day.

There is perhaps that argument but let’s not assume they won’t still consider putting them in anyway.

Oh I’m sure people would buy them, just the same as someone once bought a broken laser pointer and that’s how Ebay started. I don’t doubt the reality that people are willing to pay for these things - Twitter is full of the very-actually-noforrealsies-stupidest people on the planet currently hoping that if they trick

You really shouldn’t take so much pride and joy in potentially killing people. You really shouldn’t, but there’s nothing to be said to someone who does.

...being a buzzkill.

Oh boy, I can’t wait to sell tickets to concerts that have already happened.

Get people in the industry to stop shilling for them and we’ll stop posting about how we should all collectively bully the dumbasses. One cannot survive without the other.

I’ve found myself holding onto the shock grenades for this exact reason. It’s never not funny.

Halo 2 and 3 still have very strong online communities. At some point these guys really need to just go back to them instead of expecting every new game to be them.
