I really want to star this in recognition of the truth you speak... but I’m a little too busy being abysmally depressed about the truth you speak.

Have you ever read Epicurus? I think you would dig it.
Both of these videos are a few years old, but I have a feeling you’re going to appreciate them:
Absolutely love this song, but I prefer the “choreography version” for the video. Without all the frenetic split-second jump cuts you can actually see the girls do their thing, and appreciate their dancing skills. Korean pop just puts American pop to shame, no question about it.
Holy shit, Rain is so badass. The “La Song” is now stuck in my head, where it will stay for... pretty much the rest of my life. It is that catchy.
2NE1 and Bigbang will always be my favorites, but I’ve been getting way into Block B lately.
Not only did I see it in a theater, I saw it at an awesome place (which doesn’t exist anymore, unfortunately) called Cinema Grill. It was one of those places that have tables in the theater, and waiters who will come and take your order during the previews. My friends and I all ate cheeseburgers and fries, then…
In a perfect world, maybe. But since Warren has made it clear repeatedly that she won’t run for Pres because she thinks she can do more good in the Senate, I highly doubt that she would go for Vice Pres either.
That’s an excellent point, that the VP should be someone who will have a strong chance to take over in 8 years. As much as I love Bernie, his age is a very real consideration. I guess we’ll know Hill’s choice soon enough. The final primary is, what? May? June?
So... a Bernie Sanders-type, who isn’t actually Bernie Sanders? :)
Yeah, you’re probably right. The “simple” solution is rarely the best one, especially in politics. That being said, who do you think would be a better Veep pick for Hillz?
Hillary should have Bernie run as her VP. Bam! Problem solved.
Please tell me this is true and not just your political fanfic.
I saw some tickets available on a scalper site that started at $500 apiece, and went up to $13,000.
Even better, it’s based off of a German word. “Fenster” is the translation for “window”. German is just better at producing scary-sounding words - it’s SCIENCE (or Wissenschaft)!
The Liberty Council was actually declared a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center due to their involvement with Kim Davis, among other things.
It’s completely true that Cosby will never suffer any legal consequences for what he did, but his legacy and reputation will be eternally tarnished. Small consolation to the women he abused, granted, but at least he will be forever remembered as a monster instead of as a role model.
That’s a bummer. I haven’t found much lately that’s genuinely new - as opposed to simply “new to me”. I’m very hesitant to even admit it out loud, but I’m a little afraid that K-pop’s peak era was around about 2010-2012 and it’s currently on a decline.
I’d like to (one more time) declare my eternal gratitude to you, because you posted the video for “Fantastic Baby” in the comments under an article about 2NE1 that Charlie Jane wrote on io9 a few years ago. I was already receptive to K-pop by that point, but it was that video specifically which sent me down the rabbit…
It’s traditional to try to fit individual boy-band members into “types”, so here’s my take:
