Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451 as a love letter to books, right? I can see him getting upset that his original purpose gets missed, but I think his point goes hand-in-hand with the censorship theme. It feels like he's splitting hairs on the issue, which is his prerogative. I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing,

Pros:
-I'm used to it now
-I got a new username that I like much better because I had to re-register with Disqus directly

Yes, this again!

Whether I agree with his opinions or not, he always comes off as an asshole. He's the anti-Ebert.

Christgau is an asshole though.

Holy crap. I thought watching all of season 3 in 3 days was pretty good, but it would have taken me ~35 days at that rate.

I thought he might have Asperger's.

It's true! We're so lame!

It's disturbing to me that there is an episode rated lower than Saddlesore Galactica.

HELLO JOE!

That and Bender's "Shut up baby, I know it!" are two lines I wish I could use around more people.

It's when it's used as a noun in place of "woman", for the reasons I mentioned above. As an adjective it doesn't really bother me, as in "all-female cast" from the FOC you referred to.

I don't know that there's anything wrong with it, but it's always rubbed me the wrong way. It seems to me like a very clinical or detached way of referring to women, kind of dehumanizing. I rarely hear men referred to as males the way women get called females.

The entire first G.R.O.S.S. storyline. I was maybe 10 when I read it, and the car rolling by in the background was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen.

Well yeah, but I still want to see someone try it.

You know those lifts cheerleaders do where two cheerleaders lock their hands and launch a third cheerleader into the air? I've always wanted to see some team try that to block a field goal.

Because their "Salute to Fireworks" was a disaster.

It's dangerous to go alone!

The price depends on where you live. I live in Texas, and there's a theater near me that has tickets for $7. $4.50 for a matinee.
