Well, gems mostly seem to go for permanent costume changes when they get poofed (at least from what we have seen on the show).

A. No way in hell is pearl a responsible supervisor. Call back to the time she tried to take steven on a decades long trip to the next star system over in a homemade space ship. But lets forget about her whole….thing… for a moment

Well, having steven play the 'mystery guest' does somewhat fit, since as it has been said- he has 'ownership' of the act.

It is a bit hard to tell about how exposed humans in general are exposed to gems. I have no idea about how much activity there has been prior to steven's life time, since the show is largely from his perspective.

Well, NOW it is.

There is a complaint about obliviousness here… but appearantly, gems are just a 'thing' in this setting.

It seems to stem here, as in many cases, from the fact that they never tell the parents anything (and out right lie)

You sons of MANEUR

Or all this advanced tech that lapis was going on about included upgraded bodies (makes sense with the hand deal), and peridot has to regenerate a regular foot instead, forever going around with one shoe.

I was mostly hyping that up. It is just three 'to be announced' episodes, so it is doubtful that it is another bomb- most likely just the end of the season.

Eh. If they could survive the Uncle Grandpa episode, I think they can take some meta-criticism.

Li'l Butler turns into a corrupted-Yellow Diamond-Snerson monster confirmed.

And it means that he has had some alone time in an episode featuring each of the gems now, all dealing with the fall out of the Sardonyx arc.

Monsters, 'research material', or decorative ornaments on mirrors and such. That generally seems like the fate for most of Rose's side.

Maybe this is the calm shot in the barrage of steven bombs. I see that cartoon network already has some more episodes lined up.

She is Nana Nana.

Jamie episodes in general are rather predictable. From the instant that I saw the preview, I had a grasp on most of the episode.

She is going to clean up crime.

No, the problem might be that no one grew up in an environment where they could openly talk to eachother. To some vague extent, you could view the gems like they were advanced robots (no sleeping, no need to eat, repairable bodies), evne though they are not. But what if that is how the Gem Homeworld treats its people-

When the review mentioned how the gem war was still continuing back then….did it ever stop?
