Looks as though Cummins took some notes from Ford's 6.7L PowerStroke ( i.e. Compact Graphite Iron block).

The truck is on average 700lbs lighter, which is over a 8% loss. That's huge.

Actually the problem could be with the vehicle. Most Ford's with a factory tow package come standard with trailers sway control, a software that in short can correct the brakes on the trailer (if it has any) as well as on the vehicle to help maintain control. GM trucks do have this as of 2014+, but may not work as

Ram V6 only has 269TQ, while the 2.7L outputs 105 more at 375TQ, that's a significant difference. If you're shopping for a truck strictly based on mileage, there is no reason to buy a truck. Torque is a crucial factor that is largely overlooked by consumers... Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races.

That 's metric gallons, and those are ratings, you'll never get close to that in real world, all Ram owners I've come across get 20 with a tailwind, which is acceptable for the power you receive. The 2.7L averaged over 28MPG metric in real world.

Not in regards to the monetary aspect, but that the truck is the official truck of the University of Texas Athletics.

You didn't understand it right...

Their decal package looks like it was taken from a 10 year old boys outfit. MONSTER!!!

Hyundai/Kia's warranty isn't quite as spectacular as it's made out to be... They're really doing the exact same (but opposite) of what GM does, which only helps a small percentage. 10 year power train sounds great, but very few people put on only 10K/year. Where GM has 5year/160KM, not many people put on 30KM/year. If

The 2.7L is in an entirely different class though, you're not going to buy it if towing is your first priority, you'd opt for the 5.0L or 3.5TT. Ford is just demonstrating how well the more 'basic' motor which focuses on economy competes to the larger/more powerful motors.

Interesting! Ford has the 'oldest' pickup (hasn't had a major refresh since '11) and out of the main three, discounts it the least.

Is that a spoiler, within a spoiler?

You would be surprised! My first car was a red '72 Corolla I purchased from a neighbour for $1500 with (supposedly) 50,00 some original miles, great condition and a bit smelly. But gave it a good clean, drove it for the summer and sold it to a local Toyota dealership for a surprising $4000. From my understanding

No body. The 6.7L PowerStroke is the first in house engineered and built diesel motor from Ford-they had enough of Navistar/International's shit.

GMC's SLT and Chevrolet's LTZ are comparable to Ford's Lariat, not the King Ranch. Chev's new 'High Country' competes with the KR-some one didn't do their homework when comparing pricing.

Late 2013, October or November perhaps.

GM stocks in VM has actually been bought out, FIAT/Chrysler are currently the majority owners, and for Titan sales, you're correct. If my memory serves me right, they only sold something around 20,000 units, compared to F-series mind blowing 1.1 million-that's retarded.
