I’m not the type to buy brand new. I am the type to buy a used M3 or M5, in which case you can be damned sure I’m buying whatever extended service plan I can get my hands on, dealer or otherwise.
You’re in the greys in the real world, too, huh? So long.
All the used car lots near me have great deals on V6 BMWs.
Wait. Hardigree still works here?
What kind of gearing are do they run. What kind of trans? Rear end? That pinion brake must be spinning faster than dammit to start glowing in 60-90 seconds. How much braking do they do? They’re never going particularly fast but I suppose it’s advisable to stop voluntarily before the arena wall makes that decision. Do…
Wah wah. I decade or so back one of my buddies worked for an airline and he’d fly for free at least monthly. They required a collared shirt and a jacket if he snagged a freebie first class seat, and at least collared shirt anywhere else. Gotta look somewhat professional when you’re representing the company.
Is this really surprising? MB has been way ahead of BMW in the last, what 15 or more years? BMW was on top through through the ‘90s and early 2000s for sure but the W220 was, what, three years before the E65 and a better car all around. The E39 and E46 were superior to their counterparts but that S-class spelled the…
Gasp! An unserviceable battery?!
How abou “sports sedan,” a la BMW? I’d vote that the E46 or E39 fills that role the best out of all the generations, but the styling on those is understated at best. They both handle quite well and are certainly sporty to drive.
“Maybe if I put two tires on each rim...”
There was an ESPN piece about his lamentations. He mentioned that he ran F1 like a ***** (five star Michelin) restaurant. I assume the ancient billionaire has been to his fair share of nice restaurants, and therefore knows that there is no higher Michelin rating than ***, and therefore was referring to running F1 like…
Comforting and familiar?
You just fed a troll.
How is an E90 not on this list? A 335i might be a bit much for a first car but a 328i is perfect.
Many people don’t realize that road races are literally on public roads. The organizers get the needed roads closed for half a day or a day, but they’re not specially prepped race tracks. Train crossings mess up plenty of races, as do farm animals wondering around. Heck, in mountain stages the fans are the ones in the…
Hillbilly? Really? First, the term is generally offensive. Second, there’s nothing about their accents that suggest they’re from the Ozarks or Appalachia.
Buy this guy’s Bronco and staple your Jeep body panels to it. That’s the only way that poor pile of sadness is making it to Utah.
Annealing is heating something up and cooling it very slowly to reduce internal stress. Quenching is cooling it rapidly to maintain a desired structure. While Tracy didn’t approach this correctly, he never annealed nor quenched the bolts. He definitely fukkered their heat treatment, but it wasn’t annealing or…
