And on the other hand, American conservatives want you to be miiiighty scaaaared about sharia law.
Your average rabbi is probably a more devout Christian than anyone in this administration.
“imperfect vessel”
American politics are influenced by wealthy evangelicals using their power and money to push a right wing, Christian based agenda that seeks to enforce a very rigid moral code through force of law? Preposterous. Next, you’ll be telling me that CGI is all done using computers.
I can’t wait for this show to drop. I just adore the characters and their interactions as they try to navigate their lives. The setting and premise are just icing on the cake. The pre-reviews have been pretty favorable, with the biggest criticism being the bouncing around too many characters. That’s more of a feature…
That trailer was a rocket ride to Awesometown, Population: My boner.
I’ll never understand people who “questioned what the point of it all has been”. Did they sit through the seven seasons of shaggy, meandering, aggressively pointless fun that preceded it expecting it to actually GO somewhere?
Halfway through season 3, and it’s safe to say this is far better than season 2. Not that season 2 was bad, it’s just that season had a lot of wheel spinning and aside from the last minute rape reveal, it never felt like it was going anywhere. It also felt a bit more visually drab and repetitive with the whole Farouk…
The sequence involving Kerry, Clark, and Farouk was nothing less than an approximation of a comic book, right down to Farouk’s stating that it was the time between time, much like the way comic book panels stretch and manipulate time to create the illusion of motion/time passing/action.

And Celeste demanding to cross-examine Mary Louise herself–as a plot development it’s rather soap-opera-y, but I think you have two actresses who can really ace it, so I’m excited for the finale. On the other hand, having Zoe Kravitz try to carry a heavy…
This explains a lot about this season. Now I can blame Vallee for cutting out the ice cream throw.
If you actually bothered to read the article you’d see that HBO told her she had free rein to make her version of the show when they approached her to direct S2. But sure, just blame a woman for not knowing “her role”.
The weirdest thing about this is that Vallee seemed done with Tv for a while after sharp objects.
I think it’s a bit worse than that. From the IndieWire article
“can someone explain why Maude Apatow is so highly billed.”
God i loved this show and it’s utter and complete strangeness.
Supernatural is ending because McG ran into a board room with a long beard shouting, “Quick! What year is it?!?! Did anyone remember to cancel Supernatural yet? Oh crap, Jensen! Jesus...I’m comin Buddy...poor guy”
Friends officially leaving Neflix next yeat to hang out with its cool new friend, who is still not black.
I assume she has PTSD and Charles is there...because?
