Ugh, the Fifth Element is one of those movies that isn't bad enough to be cultishly awesome or good enough to be appreciated. Why would we need more of that?

Apple will release iMacs with the latest in mobile GPU technology.

Can you hear that? That's the sound of my wallet crying.

@cowboybebopfan: It is definitely getting there, but one day the software will evolve to that point.

@telepheedian: There may be a sale in store for us late adopters!

@cowboybebopfan: Linux, it would be awesome if Steam supported it and Adobe made a radical move. Eh, screw it. I don't need Steam, just give me the Adobe suite and I will switch in a heartbeat.

@cowboybebopfan: Your point is definitely one that needs to be driven home. It is understandable that Apple keeps a tight lid on it's flagship software suites for marketing purposes, but nobody is going to make an operating system switch over petty things like this.

@Boomdiggity!: It might be worth it, let's just double check with those kind folks at the LHC first. In related news, Direct X has been licensed for Macintosh computers.

Well, time to buy a Zune! Zunes do have a superior DAC to the iPod with a far slicker UI, but they also have that terrible software-dependency gene that makes me hate my iPod. Can a Zune be used as a disk?

Take the Windows Mobile commercials where a man was followed around by social applications as an example of this phenomenon. This ad would have been whimsical and surreal in a print ad, it

What project did Apple work on for gaming? That controller seems familiar yet alien with a brand I would never expect plastered on it.

I kind of like these ads, but the pitch to the head baby in the second one sicken me. It acts as a cruel reminder that these ads are still merely churned out ads and not pieces of individual thought. The first one made me giggle though.

@SadAstronaut: Eh, it doesn't have the same charm. It was enjoyable, but felt more like a minigame collection than a cohesive game. It's a shame Lego Universe is based on a monthly subscription, it looks like a spiritual sequel to the series.

@SadAstronaut: They really need to make a third one.

Yeah, animsim isn't a bad deal.....

@RT100: This is also a legitimate topic to be on a side on, unlike abortion. (seriously, those religious zealots need to give it a rest)
