The ego bar was a nice touch.

@Tetsuooooooo: Your point is extremely valid, but remember- audophilia isn't a purchase, it's an investment!

@d_r_e: Sorry about that, I didn't realize this was so old. Carry on my good friend that totally does not need to have any animosity against my stupidity!

@d_r_e: Please do not whine about content as it is against the commenting rules. [gizmodo.com]

@CaptainJack: Reverent? The scouts seem more and more like a conversion cult every day.

@Tetsuooooooo: Actually, FLAC is great for archival purposes even if you don't use it on the go. Any music listener that is worth their salt can tell you that.

@OMG! CarbonatedFalcon: I actually still do. My friends normally don't have access to trackers (parents, bandwidth, or other reasons) so I burn them CDs of their favorite albums in v0 or 320. Most of the time they already own these albums, but they are in something crappy like 192.

@kapanak: I am about the second part, but yeah, the fact that the quote was credible for even a second is proof enough that this article is a bit extreme.

Another excerpt:

Adventure Time!

My dad thinks it is the funniest thing when I play games such as Team Fortress online. He walks in, makes some pretty funny Ender's Game references, and asks me what I am trying to do hitting that vending machine with a wrench. Suffice to say, he is a pretty cool guy.

@Dodge2002: Nothing says "not guilty" like an out of court settlement!

Is this lawsuit garbage really true? I thought the movie was about the exploitation of user information....

@bookmatch: That is a sweet setup you have there, have you considered hooking your computer up to it also and viewing from a distance?

Did anybody else hear crackling audio? Anyway, the film looks like a laugh-fest they would broadcast on SyFy.

No highs, no lows, must be Bose! At $5,349 you could most likely afford a decent TV in that ballpark of size and invest in a good second-hand amp with some good surround sound speakers. Audiophilia all the way!

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: I'm going to take a ridiculous guess here and say that they will transfer all of the 3D elements of the prequels, which was pretty much everything, to 3D and pull an Alice in Wonderland on the the 2D elements. This is only a rumor, by the way.
