@Bertone77: Seriously? First, the seal is not danger unless the guy is a moron and throws his pick to his right, and second, the image and text relate to the article. Come on! Have some fun and remember that the image isn't supposed to be taken seriously. Back to #whitenoise with me!

This has to be the worst thing they can see. Yes, I am aware that the image is disgusting, but rest assured the seal is a few meters back and out of harm's way.

Somebody was a little upset about their reception.....

Allow the standard Android UI to be used, and all will be well.

This would make an awesome home phone, my cell phone rarely leaves the pocket.

@warpped655: It's not really the fact that it garners more attention than a more deserving book that bugs me, that shouldn't detract from the novel as a whole, but it was so watered down that I found myself questioning if this was a dystopia or an OCD family. Of course novels do not need to be poetic, but great books

@warpped655: I don't know. The symbolism was pretty weak and obvious, it wasn't poetic at all while the novel itself borrowed from greater dystopian works of literature while softening the details for a younger audience. Other than that, my real beef with The Giver is that kids are reading it instead of 1984.

I really don't like the giver. It is the Dystopian novel for morons, and every time I hear an adult say it is the deepest novel they have ever read, I secretly hope they don't have children.

Will it be released for Mac?

@romevi04: Errors have been cropping up all over the place in the Gawker comment system. I think we broke it over on whitenoise.

@romevi04: I really did make the mistake. I'm not starred on Kotaku, so taking the time to really moderate every bit of each comment isn't really necessary here. The joke was that I edited my comment after you pointed the error out.

@romevi04: I have no idea what you were talking about.

I love their grammar; it makes me laugh until I cry.

What a bunch of morons, they should be using FLAC.

@Metkis: It's actually pretty much the same. Ba-Dum-Psh! (I actually like this line of phones, the joke was just too good to pass up)

@csl5049: That was a great movie.
