I never really took much apart growing up, just a few mice and keyboards and maybe a computer. Nothing is exciting when broken down these days, it's all self contained and snap together. My Dad taught me that.

Despite the LEDs on the case, the machine looks very professional with the window displaying the disc spinning and all.

@Tony Kaye: GeekTool is just too much work for marginal results at this point. Thanks for the comment link though, that really illustrated the point!
