@Aquatrez: sidequests can often be a great part of the game, I don't think you give them enough credit. The stories in Lost Odyssey for example, while optional, I though were fantastic.

@OW-Holmes: I bet if you were at the same level you'd have killed them a lot easier though! as Dunncarnage says there's no downsides to the upgrades you get.

@Krackatoa was hit by a smooth criminal: the problem really is that many of the japanese in particular demand the conventions be adhered to. Personally I enjoy all the tropes of the JRPG, mostly, although certain unnecessary throwbacks do irk me. The absolute lack of interactivity is one. Also so far I haven't seen

@DunnCarnage: It's really frantic and quite fun but I think they made a mistake with how you get access to guns and plasmids. Only having 2 guns and 3 plasmids at the start and unlocking them pretty slowly isn't a great way to get people to keep playing.

Look at Madden 10 there at number 32. Odd. Perhaps the hype of the Superbowl has intrigued enough people to heck it out

XIII has distilled the JRPG form down to its very bare bones. Like a lot of JRPGs, they don't use the improved processing power of today to change the gameplay, just improve the graphics.

@Cigol: The controls are clearly meant to represent motion, push up and your character stands up, press right and he jumps to the right etc. But the problem as I see it is that, even if you use a motion controller like the arc, you're still following on screen prompts.

However they implement the controls, if they still use on screen prompts, it'll make the game a hi-def version of Warioware, gameplay wise anway.

@orionpk: thats fair enough but come on, it's no more difficult to keep two discs from being scratched than it is one - which is to say its not difficult at all!

@zerokoolpsx wants some new games: Well if people walk into game stores to buy their copies they'll be pretty hard pressed not to see it's on PS3 as well...unless Microsoft pay Gamestop/GAME etc huge amounts of money for exclusive storefront stands.

@S_A_B_A_T_H: Seriously I have well over 100 games and none of the DVDs are scratched, even slightly. How careless are you?

@DarkMachine: I'm not sure about the PS3 having parity/advantage over the 360 in Europe. Install-base wise perhaps, but in the UK at least, multiplat games always chart higher on the 360.

I think Molyneux is trying to claim he invented the mouse

@Microwaved Doozer: They already released a patch that fixed the accuracy on the akimbo 1887s so that they weren't so deadly.

@The Anti-Fanboy: all I can say is you must be playing it on the smallest tv in existence if you can't read the dialogue options.

@The Anti-Fanboy: in no way is ME2 unplayable because of this. You miss out on some weapon descriptions in shorthand, that's about it.

@Karlott: in no way is dead rising unplayable if you can't read the text dude. I played it on an SDTV first off and couldn't read a thing but it really didn't make much difference.
