Parentage aside isn’t Rey still technically a chosen one? Didn’t both films speak heavily about how her strong force abilities were established to counterbalance the Knights of Ren? Lord knows she didn’t study and train to get to where she is...

I find it absolutely batty that the agreed upon “truth” in this entire Rey’s parent debacle is that Johnson and Abrams had different ideas for who Rey’s parents should be. There is practically NO evidence of this being true. In fact, the only real thing backing up the idea is a quote from Simon Pegg of all people, the

WERE they trained by the same guy? Because I’m not sure Rey blindly slashing at a rock well Luke watched her really counts as "training.”

You say there were no iconic Star Wars moments in The Force Awakens but, let me tell you, I’ve never heard an audience go so nuts in a movie theater than when Rey caught the lightsaber at the top of her duel with Kylo Ren. Gave me damn shivers.

The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones each got A- CinemaScores. CinemaScore is not a reliable barometer for ANYTHING. Which isn’t to say you are wrong or that Drunow is right, but just to enforce how impossible it is to truly get a consensus opinion from a mass audience. Too many variables.

I really hoped that she would end up having an arc in Last Jedi after what happened to her in TFA. The fallout of her helping (even if under duress) Finn and causing the Starkiller base to go down should have been FAR greater. IMHO, it would have been great to see her kicked out of The First Order, and devote herself

According to Google, she’s only 5'7, so it seems more likely a trick of the photo. Rian Johnson is pretty short (5'6) so Ridley looks much bigger compared to him. Mark Hamill is technically taller than her (5'9), but she’s likely wearing heels, adding to the height disparity.

He’s also still doing The Last OG on TBS, lest we forget.

Sure, but Key is also going to be in Shane Black’s new Predator movie. So I think he wins.

This is great news, but won’t Mail Robot get depressed traversing the FX halls all on its lonesome? May I suggest building it a friend from a fellow FX show?

Yeah, I can totally imagine a final Stan scene in which, after all the shit goes down between the Jennings, some little thing Renee says or does throws him off, and we’re left with him being paranoid about if his partner is a spy too. We never find out as an audience, reinforcing the ultimate damage here: he will

I hope he calls himself “Country Riggs.”
