Also, the dog was adorable and so well behaved I didn’t think it was real for the longest time. Most be an old pro of a dog actor!

Nah, the Russo Brothers are fantastic action directors, and it shows with some of their previous work (The second Community paintball episodes come to mind.) I would even argue that the pair have a better grasp on the ins and outs of it better than any other blockbuster directors out there (I agree with you the…
“A small minority of the very loud, very angry nerds.”
Even though you are right on with this scene, I would argue the Canto Bight chase was more “CGI hopping fest” than anything else we’ve seen from Star Wars post Disney purchase. All CGI creatures running against a washed background, with the two real actors awkwardly pasted on top of the mess. Was shocked at the…
Even though I thought the throne room scene was the highlight of the film, I mostly agree with you. I think that’s a part of modern Hollywood overall, though — and there’s a few reasons for that. Not only do a lot of the young, indie darling directors that the system brings on to tell these things seemingly…
Yeah, I watched a documentary entitled “Breaking Bad” about the subject. You won’t BELIEVE what they use the chicken for!
You know, now I kind of want to see Hilary as the new Colonel Sanders.
Do multicams actually do better on networks OTHER than CBS? The ones that ABC and NBC have put out in the past all failed pretty hard. And Fox has almost entirely ignored the format altogether since, gulp, Mulaney.
Yeah, but it’s weird they haven’t even begun to lay the groundwork for that arc when it comes to Detmer. They did with Saru, and Detmer lost a hell of a lot more than Saru did.
The second film is highly underrated, IMHO. That wheel sword fight is amazing, and Gore Verbinski overall directs the hell out of the movie. The terrible last two prove how much he ultimately brought to the series.
Huh. Either way. he’s dead now, so the point is moot I guess.
Well, Discovery has been doing a pretty kiss poor job of that for 12 episodes, so not sure 10 minutes of screen time would have helped that. :/
*Lorca kicks dude’s head in*
To be honest though, I kind of liked it? In the age of streaming TV, I’ve kind of grown used to shows with bloated episode (and, often, season) lengths. Kind of refreshing for the show to come in, say what it had to say, and cut to black. No filler.
Hey, don’t forget about Robot Face Lady! She has a long history of sideways glances and making Burnham feel guilty. That wacky Robot Face Lady.
Stamets is Chief Engineer, no? And I just kind of assumed that Culmer was the Chief Medical Officer, even if it was never stated.
So in this scenario, is Darrell Hammond the drop out who would still hang out in the parking lot in the day, until grudgingly taking a part time janitor job when he turned 30?
I don’t know man, I feel there’s a least half a dozen skits at the top of my head that lived and died on the basis of Key and Peele’s performances, Jordan Peele included. Slap Ass? The Meegan sketches? Wendell? The freaking Goonies 2 thing? I could easily see a world in which those aired on SNL, and fell completely…
Peele’s announcement of his decision was quickly followed by Keegan Michael Key chasing after him, saying he can’t go because he “forgot his jacket.”
Keegan Micahel Key is also REALLY great in Don’t Think Twice. He and Gillian Jacobs steal that movie from the rest of the cast quite handily (and, considering the plot, rather aptly.)
