My guess is that in an effort to be sensitive and respectful to the victims, they didn’t do their due diligence and sufficiently vet and prep them prior to testimony, and as a result, the defense actually managed to concoct a narrative that painted these victims as practically a cabal, first using their feminine wiles…

All judgments or opinions on Ghomeshi’s guilt or lack thereof, from a legal perspective this trial has been downright disastrous for the prosecution. He may be a scumbag but the reasonable doubt that has been sown pretty much demands a not-guilty finding.
