I’m always amazed when I see people with dogs in their laps and being reminded that this is legal but holding a phone will get me a ticket. An animal in your lap is vastly more distracting than a phone.
Model T, hands down. You probably can’t even get snow tires for them. ;-)
The one that bugs me is when you’re waiting for a spot and people get in a car to leave, then take like 20 minutes to actually back out. Be aware when a lot is busy, put your stuff in, buckle up, and leave!
omg I just rewatched this on an airplane 2 days ago and was thinking the exact same thing! Way more of a Christmas movie than Die Hard.
Came here for this. Had a poster of this on my wall picked up from the Scholastic Book Fair
With a lot of new cars going for over MSRP, are leases similarly inflated? Wondering if you found yourself in a situation where you NEED a new car (car dies, gets totaled, whatever) but don’t want to get too screwed, if finding a short lease to try to ride out the crazy market would be worthwhile. Or are you screwed…
Stealing this joke from a tweet I saw, but ask your dad now for the WiFi password so he can find the little piece of paper it’s written down on
Is there any sort of VALID reason why this is being required? Like an actual reason that makes sense?
The suspicious stoned vampire car
Definitely an Explorer Raptor to go several steps beyond the Timberline edition.
I feel like I need to drive a Miata to see what the BFD is
Jaguar XJ8 or XJ6 with the round headlights, and preferably the leaping Jag hood ornament
I was just coming to say this looks like a Fiero kitcar
Totally #3. If they had free OTA updates that would be useful, but alas that is not the case. It’s nice as an emergency backup to the phone, but hardly useful for everyday use.
Automakers: makes hybrid models only available in top of the line, most expensive luxury trims.
I’d love to restore a Karmann Ghia. Those things are beautiful. Possibly modernize the powerplant with a newer 2.0T or maybe even convert to electric.
Right? How could he forget Robin Hood: Men in Tights?!
This is an interesting bit of info. I’m in the Seattle area and parking at transit centers is a constant battle. When I commuted pre-Covid the Park & Ride lot near me would be completely full by 7:30 at the latest, so anybody driving in after would be SOL.
