Abuse gets overlooked more than anyone would like to admit. The organizations that investigate are seriously understaffed, overworked, and underfunded.

I don't know - check out this blog about what French kids get to eat everyday: http://karenlebillon.com/tag/french-kid…
Oh, they still sell them. I've never seen anyone actually eat them though.
I fear from their "no one is allowed over" comment that they're essentially holding her captive and trying to "recondition" her, per Pat's instructions...I hope they see some sense and that this is not the case.
Oh, I totally feel your pain. I did a number on my stomach as a teen due to anorexia and bulimia (the laxative type) and had all kinds of fun digestive experiences in high school.
That's true, but I've actually found that really good-looking men are willing to date a wider variety of women because they're less insecure.
I haven't really seen much with Zac Efron in it but if you watch the sex scene between the leads in "Zack and Miri" it's pretty much a no-brainer why some women would prefer Seth Rogan. Hint: It's not because we're insecure.
WTF was that Exit to Eden trailer? They made a goofy comedy out of a fairly explicit (but very well-written) piece of erotica?? I'd love to see a Sleeping Beauty film, but I don't know if it's right for TV. Maybe Netflix, a la OITNB?
I love UrbanSpoon. Even better: a lot of times users post pictures of the menu so you can see the prices beforehand if the restaurant doesn't have a menu or prices posted online. UrbanSpoon has never led me astray.
I think it will make changes because it shifts the general viewpoint about sex, rape and consent altogether. If we're telling boys "consent is the presence of a yes" instead of "consent is the absence of a no," I think it could mean big changes for the way jurors see rape, and maybe even big changes in the rape rate.
Seriously. It makes me wonder what kind of sex these naysayers are having...
Like how my coworker (who makes 3x what I do) complains about being "broke" because he just put down like $6,000 on a new SUV. I know that feel.
I thought "living paycheck to paycheck" meant you don't have savings...
You're forgetting about sexual harassment. You have the right not to be sexually harassed in the workplace. Any sexual or gender-related acts or statements that are unwanted and which make an employee uncomfortable is sexually harassment.
I don't have kids, but I feel like I'd rather have a teen who thinks he knows everything than a teen who has attachment issues and plans to live with me until he's 40...but that's just me, and I was also raised in a household that very much discouraged individual thought and choices.
I've never been pregnant, but I remember when a loved one was going through chemo, she got a little wristband with a round thing on it that looked like a watch, that sent some sort of magnetic pulses up her arm to ease the nausea. Can any moms attest that these things help with morning sickness? I think you can get…
You could try acupuncture - it incorporates massage and it feels awesome, and the messages themselves are not as long and usually spaced out throughout the appointment.
Definitely talk to your doctor asap. Do you have any history of anxiety disorders? Are you seeing a general practitioner or a psychiatrist? I know when I was younger I was misdiagnosed with depression when I had anxiety disorder and the antidepressants just made me more anxious.
Get her a very cheap (but thoughtful) gift, give it to her before the bridal shower, and tell you you can't make it to the bridal shower because [insert excuse] came up, but that you hope it will be great and you'll see her at the wedding.
