I know I’m going to get some disagreement here, but manual windows. Crank, crank, crank to go up or down. My current fleet has one vehicle with manual windows (a Jeep TJ)  I give the Jeep a pass here, but I’ve gotten spoiled by power windows.  My 2005 F-150 that I bought used had manual windows and no power locks.  I

Yup! For the cost of a motor, he gets a 2018 diesel truck. Put in a crate motor for 15K and drive that thing forever, assuming he has learned his lesson about oil changes. Or put in a used motor for a lot less money, and mind the oil changes. Either way, he is going to pay lots more to replace the entire truck.

Agreed, as long as the work was done right, this one is worth the money.

In Spanish, it means “mixed” as the primary definition, although promiscuous is the 2nd definition. So maybe it’s meant to describe a mixed use vehicle.

I voted NP simply for the fun of this thing. If it actually runs, it would be a hoot to drive around. You’ll never see yourself coming the other way!

I’ve got a Jeep TJ and a Series 100 Land Cruiser. I have been seriously considering selling both and ordering a fully loaded XLT Lariat AWD Maverick. I even test drove a Maverick that my local dealer has for those considering placing orders. Today is the deadline, apparently Ford is cutting off orders after today.

Is that the same as the us version of the Chevette that was badged as a Pontiac, the regal T1000??  High school girlfriend had one of those.  It was simply a facelifted Chevette.  Hers was tan with a tan vinyl interior.  It was reliable, I’ll give it that.

I once owned 3 Honda Elements at the same time.  I will not be taking any questions.

Both of your Vava links to Amazon go to dead links.

I did the leg work here. Found their website and checked their inventory. Lexus IS300 has been rescued by someone.  Stand down.

It’s nice, but, holy hell, it’s not THAT nice.

In my defense, when that “someone” did it, it was about 6am on my way to work, There was not another car on the frontage road, and on the section used, there were no access ramps where another car could have appeared from. It was a very carefully selected little section of road. May or may not have been the Buford

It’s a little high on the price point, but that is a damn fine car.  Volvos (even during the Ford years) were very well screwed together.  This thing will give years of solid reliable service.

Yeah, that adrenaline rush is amazing. I picked up a 500 pound motorcycle immediately after smacking the pavement with my shoulder. Turned out I shattered my scapula, which i highly encourage you to avoid doing. My shoulder and arm were immobilized for weeks. Just thinking about lifting that bike in the shape I was in

Pimp sauce, not pepper sauce. I plan on working “pimp sauce” into at least one conversation today.

Even sadder than the QE is the condition and future of the SS United States, which is currently slowly dissolving in a Philadelphia harbor.

I never said it was an accident. LOL, it was completely intentional. Top speed for the bike is said to be 137. Was curious if it would do that.  It hit 132 GPS indicated before it stopped accelerating.

I am an adult, but sometimes, just sometimes folks, I forget. Not all that long ago, someone hit 130mph on a BMW K11o0RS. On a frontage road. In Atlanta. I think the speed limit there was 50 mph. Not saying it was me, but...

I’ve owned 4 Miatas over the years. One each of the NA and NB, and two of the NC. I’m bored with them. Miata may always be the answer the first 4 times, but I’m looking for a more vintage experience. Many years ago I had a 79 Fiat Spider. I have far more memories of driving that car than I do any of my Miatas.
