Can't tell if you're being sincere or not, but if you are then I hope I've found a fellow Corb Lund fan in this comment section!

I'd also add Corb Lund to that list!

Yeah I think with Greenberg I went in with high expectations because I loved the cast but I just found Greenberg himself to be such an unlikeable character that I had a hard time investing emotionally in his arc the way Baumbach intended.

Ahh I clearly am not well-versed enough in Greenberg-isms to pick up on it. And for the record, I completely agree with what you wrote about Inside Llewyn Davis on the #1-20 list so at least we have that in common!

Well I didn't agree with the entirety of @avclub-b48dd5fc197031c2049eee6b819c8768:disqus list, since I enjoyed Frances Ha, Skyfall, and Room 237 so I wanted to echo only part of it. I'm sorry that we have differing opinions on a piece of art. I'm sure there's plenty in the world we agree about.

The entire purpose of the article (and the comment section) is to discuss generally acclaimed movies that we disliked. I'm glad you're taking it so personally.

YES. This is a great point. I mentioned it elsewhere, but Greenberg might make it on a list of my least favorite films of the decade.

Totally agree on Greenberg. What a waste of time that movie was. One of Baumbach's worst in my opinion.

Agree 1000%. Computer Chess was so rambling and incoherent that I could hardly stand it. All of the characters were vague sketches with zero personality, which only further highlighted how weak the "plot" was. The whole thing just didn't work for me from start to finish.

Signed in just to downvote.

Mine are absolutely The Hold Steady/Craig Finn and any film made by PT Anderson.

Yeah, I feel like what he lacks in hard street creed he makes up for with the acrobatic mic skills. For me, his albums have endless replay value because of how densely he packs his rhymes. On multiple occasions I've found myself rewinding a track I've listened to a hundred times because I'll notice some crazy lyrical

Not a problem man, I'm always trying to spread the word about Shad. He's pretty big up in Canada, but down here in the US he just hasn't managed to catch on (even here in Seattle, which isn't all that far from Vancouver). He typically plays fairly small club shows in the states, and every time he comes to town or

It's not homemade, more of the semi-professional mixtape style. I think the story goes that he won a prize from rapping at a local radio talent competition and used that prize money to record it. It's not bad but I'd say it's pretty front-loaded. The first five songs are great, but it kind of drops off from there. You

His second album, The Old Prince, is a great place to start. In my opinion it's an all-time classic. I'd start there and work your way forward through TSOL and Flying Colours.

Just want to let everyone here in the comment section know that Shad (nominated for Polaris) is one of the most underrated rappers in hip-hop. Highly suggest you check him out.

You seem confused, but just to clarify my comment wasn't an official petition for Yahoo to resurrect a show that's been dead for almost four years. I was kidding. I just miss Terriers, that's all.

Hey Yahoo! Do this for Terriers, please and thank you.

I'm not sure how much of my surprise was due to low expectations beforehand, but I found this movie to be absolutely hilarious. Efron and Franco have some incredible riffs, and I really enjoyed the relationship between Rogen and Byrne. There are a lot of memorable scenes in this movie, from hilarious bit parts for

The album is largely produced by Glover and Ludwig Goransson, who also produced Camp. As far as I know neither of them is expensive nor are they overrated (since the only thing they've produced are the Gambino albums you seem to hate).
