The SWAT officer who pulled the trigger is to blame. The person who called the fake incident into the police is to blame. The person who passed along the victim’s address is to blame.

If they remade The Witcher 1 in the 3rd game’s engine, I’d wager a TON of people would love it. It’s jank as hell but I love, love, love the first game

I thought Dragon Age: Inquisition was great. Dunno why people have soured on it over time. Obviously it had some issues (epitomized by the Hinterlands) but I really enjoyed the combat, story, and characters. (Iron Bull!)
The only bad things in the finale were that Scully driving part, and the cliffhanger of course. Nothing about it was trash.
Not surprised patrick didn’t like it. He seems to be kind of a hater when it comes to the X-Files.
I actually liked it more than I was expecting. I think your relationship with the X-files was similar to my wife’s. I liked the show, but wasn’t hugely into it, but my wife was a MASSIVE fan (we have a big box of X-files collectibles currently residing under our basement stairs). I think both of us approached the…
I would say that Fringe certainly ended better than Lost did.
Hit the nail on the head. This episode had me smiling. Can't wait to see more tonight.
It’s the popular hipster thing to say this episode sucked. Wooden acting? Anderson and Duchovny played the characters exactly the same way they’ve always played them. In many ways it felt like the show never left. Aside from the contemporary cell phones and nods to current politics, it felt EXACTLY like an episode of…
Hey! While not perfect Fringe was a GOOD show, better than Lost.
By the end of its run in 2000, Peanuts was an institution. It had become an omnipresent part of American culture,…
... Come home, MJ.
Taking the confederate flag down from state-owned land is a good idea, and I support it.
No one is banning the flag. No government agency has removed a single flag from private property. People who say “the flag is being banned” or “should be banned” are fucking morons. The former is wrong. The latter doesn’t…
Or. OR.

If you play a game long enough, you start to be able to predict it. Thirty hours in, The Witcher 3’s still got me…
Behind the scenes at Kotaku: To get that screenshot of all seven of the cats, I had to spend a surprising amount of time walking around and chasing them into a single shot. I believe that’s the first time I’ve ever actually herded cats in a video game.
There are a lot of big things that I like about The Witcher 3. But this game is full of charming moments and cool…
Agreed on all points
Geralt is a massive, far cry from “generic”. In fact, any character that you can create yourself is generic, limited to a flat baseline personality that anyone can squeeze their own interpretations into. Geralt, on the other hand, is an established character with two short story collections and five novels worth of…
