This is an awful idea. Just look at that photo. A bumbling old asshole standing next to the Queen of Everything. Never.

about 500 times less so than Sia, sure.

Yawn, it's been done:

Yeah there's the "kid got busted drinking in the park with his friends" and then there's "kid rapes a girl and takes a photo" ... not QUITE the same thing.

Your spouse.

Huh. I couldn't imagine my husband NOT being my best friend. Aside from my coworkers, he's the person I spend the most time with. That would be awfully dreary if we just sort of "got along."

Worked for me. Your bestie has no illusions that you are perfect. They'll tell it like it is and will both forgive you quickly AND not stand for your bullshit. They'll be your staunchest defender while having no trouble calling you out. They know all your bullshit, but they also know your strengths and that you can be

My wife is my best friend, easily. But it was not like we were friends before. We met dating and the friendship developed as the relationship developed.

I'm not playing the race card, I'm playing the rice card

My reaction to almost everything in this Dirt Bag:

At last, evidence that you should always bring Spears to a knife fight.

You put them in a good order for comedic emphasis. Like, "House rules: take off your shoes at the door, put dishes in the dishwasher immediately, oh, and, NO MURDER."

I feel like maybe those are out of order tho'

The dumb magazine subscriptions is kind of funny. The other items....not so much

Actually, it's about ethics in fast food journalism.

At which point he'll become Hispanic for sure.

"It's not intended to actually sell clothes," yet it's part of a partnership with a clothing brand. I dunno, maybe I'm just dense, but I don't think it works at all. It's like a live-action Cathy cartoon.

This.

What's interesting is, ideally, these are very similar- a 17 year old can be charged as a minor or as an adult. Likewise Cassandra could have been found to be mature enough to make medical decisions, or not. Because people in their teens vary greatly developmentally, it makes sense that "the system" treat them

I'm glad it was maybe helpful. I have connections to both the state judicial system and several reporters and columnists covering this, and every time I see these "Girl Being Forced To Drink Cancer Poison!" headlines, I look at that and then hear what my friends have been telling me and reflect on what I've seen

I just lived through six rounds of chemo, and yes, it was fucking awful. But you know what? It sure beats the alternative, which was dying. "Possibly having issues for the rest of your life" is a far better option that "certainly not living."
