"…presumably, we’re supposed to appreciate the journey along the way to the destination. There are parts to enjoy, for sure. But for a show that seems conscious of people’s binge-watching habits, there isn’t always quite enough to hook you into letting autoplay bleed into the next episode as soon as one ends."

I agree with this. I've gotten pretty frustrated by the reviews of this show so far. It seems like Kayla spends too much time repeating the same things in every review — the show is "too slow," the female characters aren't developed enough, etc. And complaining about how hard it is to "get through" the episodes, wtf?

The note was placed in the basket of her bike by Noah. Then she picked up the pies and put them in the basket without seeing the note. Apparently the note got stuck to the bottom of the pie box and was carried into the house for her step-mother to inadvertantly discover.

I think maybe she meant "taciturn"?
